Privacy Policy
At DavantLabs we take privacy seriously. This policy explains how we process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
- Controller: DAVANTLABS SL
- Tax ID (CIF): B88696513
- Address: Calle Sigfrido, núm. 1, 29006 Málaga, España
- Contact: hello@davantlabs.com
2. Data we process and its source
This website is informational and requires no registration. We process personal data in three situations:
- When you contact us: if you voluntarily email us, we process your name, email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
- When you book a call: if you schedule a meeting through our booking tool, we process your name, email address, the date and time you choose and any details you provide about your enquiry (for example, the problem you want to discuss).
- Usage analytics: we use Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics tool that uses no cookies and does not store your IP address, collecting only aggregated, anonymous metrics (page views, referrer page, browser and device type, and approximate country). This data does not allow us to identify you.
3. Purpose of processing
- To handle and respond to your enquiries or requests for information.
- To manage the commercial or pre-contractual relationship arising from your contact.
- To understand, in aggregate and anonymous form, how the site is used in order to improve it.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing your contact data is the consent you provide when emailing us (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, where applicable, the implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). The anonymous web analytics relies on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how the site works (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), as it involves no cookies and no processing of identifiable data.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, for the duration of the commercial relationship. Afterwards, data will be kept blocked for the legally required periods to address potential liabilities.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where legally required. To provide the service we rely on providers acting as data processors under contract and with appropriate safeguards (Art. 28 GDPR):
- Email provider, to receive and manage your messages.
- Calendly LLC, as the provider of the scheduling tool used to book calls, which processes the booking data described in section 2 on our behalf.
- Umami Software, Inc. (Umami Cloud), as the provider of the anonymous web analytics described in section 2.
Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In that case, international transfers are covered by the safeguards set out in the GDPR (Chapter V), such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Security measures
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS), and access to the messages we receive is limited to the personnel strictly necessary to handle them.
8. Minors
This website and our services are aimed at professionals and businesses, not at minors. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. If we become aware that a minor's data has been provided to us without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
9. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hello@davantlabs.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations.
10. Cookies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics cookies either: our analytics tool (Umami) works without cookies. We therefore display no cookie banner, since Spanish law (Art. 22.2 LSSI) only requires consent for storing or accessing information on your device, which does not happen here. Only strictly necessary technical cookies, exempt from the consent requirement, may be used for the site to function. If you choose to open our booking tool, Calendly may set its own cookies that are necessary to provide the scheduling service you requested; these load only when you actively open the scheduler.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect regulatory changes or changes to our services. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
